In August 2018, Professor Kenneth Amaeshi led the Chevening Alumni Association of Nigeria (CAAN) to visit the Executive Secretary, National Universities Commission (NUC), Professor Abubakar Rasheet, mni, MFR, FNAL, to promote Africapitalism as an emerging economic philosophy and seek for its inclusion in the curricula of tertiary education institutions in Nigeria and Africa.
